of Michel Leclerc, visionary entrepreneur with an impressive track record
in creative work.
Michel studied information, graphic and advertising techniques
at college (1972) and holds degrees in communications (Laval University,
1974) and marketing/advertising (HEC Montréal, 1986).
He was for many years artistic director at several major
advertising agencies as well as a partner in charge of advertising
strategies for a number of communications firms.
Michel create a company that would market the BluePlanetSMART.
Ecolosphere Inc. was founded in Montreal in 2003 with the purpose
of manufacturing and marketing an innovative household composter.
Michel came up with a first prototype after a year and a half
of research and development of a mould that could be used
in a rotomoulding manufacturing process.
Production began in early March 2005, proving yet again the truth
in the Marshall McLuhan saying
